tests carried out by an independent external laboratory in accordance
with the UNI EN 16615:2015 standard have shown their effectiveness
in removing bacteria and fungi using only water.
Specifically, they remove 99.99% of microorganisms
present on the surface, significantly reducing microbial contamination
without the use of detergent solutions.
Efficacy demonstrated with the 4-field test
The 4-field test described in EN 16615 involves rubbing
the water-only impregnated mop on the surface of each test field,
the first of which is contaminated with microorganisms. At the end of the process,
the degree of effectiveness of the mop in reducing microbes is determined.*
All mops passed the test, representing the
ideal solution for flawless cleaning.
* The analysis focused on the bacteria Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538, Enterococcus hirae ATCC 10541
and Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 15442, and on the fungus Candida albicans ATCC 10231.
