Hygiene is guaranteed with Mono-Tex and Micro-Activa mops: tests carried out in accordance with UNI EN 16615:2015 have found effectiveness in removing bacteria with water only. In particular, the Mono-Tex disposable mop removes up to 94.2 % of microorganisms on the surface while the Micro-Activa mop reaches 96.6 %, significantly reducing microbial contamination without the use of cleaning solution.

Efficacy demonstrated with the 4-field test

Both tested mops passed with flying colors the evaluation of bactericidal activity carried out by an independent accredited institute, representing the ideal solution for flawless cleaning.

The 4-field test described in EN 16615 involves rubbing the water-only impregnated mop on the surface of each test field, the first of which is contaminated with microorganisms. The analysis focused on the bacteria strains Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538, Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 15442 and Enterococcus hirae ATCC 10541, and determined the degree of effectiveness of the mop in capturing the bacteria.
